PHP email return path default change

PHP while sending email, it appears to be in Yahoo does not accept what was mentioned in Message header. So to overwrite that i used the following:
vim /etc/php.ini

[mail function]
; For Win32 only.
; http://www.php.net/manual/en/mail.configuration.php#ini.smtp
SMTP = localhost
; http://www.php.net/manual/en/mail.configuration.php#ini.smtp-port
smtp_port = 25

; For Win32 only.
; http://www.php.net/manual/en/mail.configuration.php#ini.sendmail-from
;sendmail_from = me@example.com

; For Unix only. You may supply arguments as well (default: “sendmail -t -i”).
; http://www.php.net/manual/en/mail.configuration.php#ini.sendmail-path
; Return-Path:
sendmail_path = /usr/sbin/sendmail -t -i -f info@whatever.com
